The Samlex SAM-1500C-12 inverter/charger converts 12V battery power into 1500 watts of reliable AC power. It features a 15 amp, 2-stage battery charger to provide safe and rapid battery charging, as well as an integrated 30A transfer switch. The transfer switch automatically detects incoming AC power and transitions to the battery bank when power is unavailable.

The SAM-1500C-12 is primarily used to provide AC backup power, or as an off-line Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) though combined operation of the inverter, battery charger and transfer switch. However, unlike other inverter/chargers on the market it can also used as a standalone 1500 watt power inverter or as a standalone 15 amp battery charger.

The SAM-1500C-12 features Low Interference Technology circuit design and noise filtration that reduces RF interference in TV picture, audio and radio equipment. It also features Soft Start Technology to reduce the likelihood of the inverter shutting down due to overload and Cool Surface Technology to prevent unsafe touch-temperatures.

Based on the same proven technology as Samlex America's line of SAM Series inverters, the SAM-1500-C in ideal for use in RV's, trucks and off-grid applications
