The Xantrex XPower 450 is part of a family of advanced high-performance power inverters from Xantrex, the leader in high-frequency inverter design. The XPower 450 efficiently powers a wide variety of AC loads, such as compact TV's, laptops, compact fluorescent lights, and soldering irons.

By plugging the XPower 450 inverter directly into a 12-volt cigarette lighter socket, or by connecting directly to the battery, you can turn your vehicle into a mobile office or have power to run entertainment electronics like popular handheld games or TVs. In addition, the XPower 450 inverter automatically senses low battery voltage so you never have to worry about a depleted battery. The XPower 450 also uses solid state power electronics that includes automatic safety monitoring circuitry to protect it, and your battery, from inadvertent overload conditions. Ideal for damp or humid environments, the XPower 450 is specifically engineered to provide corrosion resistance and short-circuit protection.
