The Xantrex 808-0231 Battery Temperature Sensor (BTS) measures battery temperature and improves battery charging efficiency. The BTS sends precise information to the PROSine 2.0 or TRUEcharge Charger, which automatically adjust charging voltages to compensate for actual battery temperature. With the Xantrex TRUEcharge BTS, your charging function will receive the data it needs to give your battery the most accurate and truest charge it can have, leading to a better charge and longer battery life.

The Xantrex BTS has a solid copper mounting plate for best heat conductivity with heavy nickel plating for corrosion resistance. It bolts directly to your negative battery terminal or can be attached to your battery case.
