The Samlex SMH-5000X-12 is a high-power 12 volt modified sine wave inverter designed to deliver up to 5000 watts of continuous AC power and surge up to 10,000 watts for demanding mobile, off-grid, and backup applications. It features high efficiency, soft-start technology for improved surge handling, smart variable-speed cooling fan, and a cool-surface chassis for safer operation.
An integrated LCD display provides real-time input voltage, output level, and fault indications, while the optional wired LCD remote control can be used to switch the SMH-5000X-12 on/off and display the operational status of the inverter.
The SMH-5000X-12 is built with heavy-duty DC input terminals and features four NEMA5-15R receptacles and hardwire terminals for AC output. The inverter utilizes an electronic breaker system that provides ganged protection for all AC receptacle outputs. If an overload condition occurs on any single outlet, all AC outlets are simultaneously interrupted and automatically reset once the fault is removed.
The Samlex SMH-5000X-12 has comprehensive protections with auto reset including low/high input voltage, overload, short-circuit, and over-temperature. ETL listed to UL 458 and CSA C22.2 No. 107.1, the SMH-5000X-12 is ideal for fleet vehicles, mobile workshops, trucks, boats, and RVs, as well as off-grid applications.
