The Magnum Energy MMSA1012-GL Inverter/Charger is a pure sine wave inverter/charger designed for mobile applications with modest power needs, and is ideal for use in emergency vehicle applications. Versatile, lightweight and easy to use, it offers a reliable and cost-effective solution, featuring a built-in Power Factor Corrected (PFC) charger that uses 25–30% less generator energy than standard chargers. The MMSA1012-GL’s hourglass-shaped case and die-cast aluminum base combine aesthetics with function, serving as a heat sink for superior high-temperature performance.
This Magnum Energy 1000 watt inverter/charger includes a 50 Amp, 4-stage PFC charger, and a built-in 15 amp automatic transfer relay. The MMSA1012-GL provides convenient access with a GFCI outlet and AC input via a 3' plug-in power cord, as well as DC terminals with Anderson connectors for quick DC connection. It’s well-suited for mobile setups thanks to isolated input/output neutrals and includes a 15ft battery temperature sensor for temperature compensated battery charging. The MMSA1012-GL efficiently converts 12V DC battery power to 120V AC, and its multi-stage charger keeps the inverter’s battery bank fully charged.
The MMSA1012-GL features a Dual In-line Package (DIP) switch with 10 individual slide switches, enabling users to configure operating parameters directly on the device—no remote control required. For added convenience, compatible remote controls (ME-RC, ME-ARC, or ME-MR), users can easily select from standard battery profiles—including Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP), Gel, Flooded, AGM1, and AGM2—ensuring optimal charging and maintenance for various battery types.
