DonRowe.com supplied the power packs to run the lights in the 5 helium balloons
at the Olympics Closing Ceremonies.
Illuminated by 2000 watts of incandescent lights, the balloons rose 80' aloft,
with aerial acrobats suspended below.
Each huge "snowball" was tethered to a person on the ground wearing
a backpack. Inside each backpack was a Cobra 2000 Watt Power Inverter, and a Lifeline
AGM Battery.

Reliable enough for the Olympics ... Reliable enough for you! |
If you watched the Opening Ceremonies, you saw more of our inverters at work
... we also provided the 7 1200 Watt Inverters used to light the Conestoga wagons
carrying the Utah pioneers as they traveled around Rice-Eccles Stadium. We don't
have pictures of the wagons, but it was definitely an impressive sight!
More
photos of the Closing Ceremonies ...
This one shows a skater flipping and spinning and turning under a balloon ...
80 feet in the air ... YIKES!
... and the AC cable running from the inverter on the ground up to the lights
in the balloon.

WOW!
What a Fireworks Display!!

In spite of the various controversies we thought the Winter Olympics
were great! Our company's small part in it made it even more exciting for us.
