The MS4024-G Inverter/Charger from Magnum Energy is a pure sine wave inverter designed especially for rugged mobile applications, home backup power, and standalone applications. It provides a powerful 4000 watts of output and can power a wide range of household appliances including TV's, Blu-Ray players, stereos, computers, hair dryers and other electrical devices.

The MS4024-GG is designed to allow easy access to wiring, circuit breakers and controls making installation a breeze. Simply connect the inverter’s output to your distribution circuits or electrical panel, connect your utility or AC generator power to the inverter, connect the batteries, and then switch it on for power. The MS4024-G also features a built-in dual GFCI outlet to provide auxiliary power to 120VAC devices that require 20 amps or less.

The MS4024-G is equipped with a 105 amp Power Factor Corrected (PFC) and Proportional-Integral (PI) multi-stage battery charger. The PI feature allows the charger voltage and current to change independently. These two features maximize the real power available from the AC power source (i.e., utility or generator), which translates into less power wasted and increased charging capabilities.

The charger can use up to five different charging stages to help monitor and keep batteries properly maintained. This includes a battery equalization stage and a Battery Saver mode designed to keep batteries fully charged over long periods and prevent excessive loss of water in flooded batteries, or drying out of GEL/AGM batteries. The charger also features automatic battery temperature compensation for optimum charging even during extreme temperature changes.
